Very nice little state park wife and kids are into history and the guide was very knowlageble.
It was a great day trip for us. The men that were there knew the history very well and were so friendly. We bought a passport and plan on visiting all of the historic sights this summer. There is one big pavilion with a grill and a handful of picnic tables with small grills along the trail to the main home. The cemeteries were very interesting.
Gorgeous property. Cabin was locked when I went. Would have loved to have gotten inside. I hear they have a guided tour. I did not ask. Beautiful hiking trails. Great experience.
We took an unguided tour after a talk from the tour guide in the office. We enjoyed walking the trails.
Great historical account of Nathan Boone, Daniel Boone's youngest son. Home sits on 400 acres of beautiful property. Site eorkers are very professional and helpful. Worth the visit!
